Mercy Obamogie is a graduate of UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. She has over thirty years of active clinical practice in Family Medicine with a strong commitment to providing truly personalized comprehensive care. She founded Capital Care Clinic with a vision to expand access to quality healthcare where it is needed most. She envisioned a clinic that is more than a medical office- it’s a beautiful, welcoming space where patients can connect with their doctor, feel heard, and know that they are truly cared for. She is passionate about spending quality time with each patient, understanding their concerns, and working collaboratively to address underlying health conditions.

Fun Fact: She enjoys studying the Bible and exploring how faith can support healing and well-being. Her passion for helping others extends beyond the local community, as she actively supports initiatives to improve healthcare access in countries like Nigeria.

Adenike Odunmbaku, MD

Dr.

Adenike Odunmbaku is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She brings a unique perspective to primary care, shaped by years of experience in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. She has a passion for prevention and long-term health. As a board-certified Lifestyle Medicine physician, she integrates evidence-based strategies into every care plan addressing nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management. She believes true wellness comes from a holistic approach to caring for the mind, body, and lifestyle.

Fun Fact: She enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking, baking, and creating new recipes. She feels fulfillment when creating- whether through food, projects, or new experiences with her family.
